Did Someone say FISH? The focus for this year’s World Hunger Drive is Fish Farms. Give your neighbors a fish, and they’ll eat for a day. Give your neighbors a community fish farm, and they’ll eat for a lifetime. A fish farm begins with a pond, training and a few fast-growing fish, such as tilapia. The entire community benefits from a longtime supply of fish, rich in vitamins, minerals and protein.
Fish Farms are $250.00 and our goal is to buy 30 and can be done in any increments. The drive will go on through Lent. Please join us on March 6th as the Board of Social Outreach hosts the coffee hour to kick off the drive.
