Reflections
Through Their Eyes

On Sunday April 23, Photographer Lyndsay Bertram led a Photography Workshop for the Sunday School children. Lyndsay taught the class how to take photos using an imaginary grid and that where the lines intersect, the eye follows. The class also used glass marbles to look at things around them differently. Enjoy this photography exhibit showcasing the lower level, through their eyes.
Dear God,
We come to you today with gratitude for the gift of sight, and for the wonder and beauty of the world that you have created. We pray especially for the children who are learning how to see the world through a lens.
May they be filled with a sense of curiosity and wonder as they explore their surroundings and discover new perspectives through the camera lens. Help them to see the world with fresh eyes, and to appreciate the beauty in the everyday moments of life.
We ask that you guide them in their learning, and give them the patience and perseverance they need to develop their skills. May they be inspired to use their photography as a tool for sharing their unique perspective with others, and for bringing joy and beauty to those around them.
Most of all, we pray that these children will come to know you through their experiences with the world around them. May their love for photography deepen their appreciation for your creation, and may they be filled with a sense of awe and wonder at your infinite creativity and love.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
