Test of Identity

On Sunday January 20th, Ascension participated in Pulpit Exchange Day. We were blessed to have Pastor Tom Trinidad from Faith Presbyterian Church come and preach God’s word. This event always reminds that no matter the denomination, the Christian faith is one church and we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.
“May we receive God’s word with Jesus in faith. You are God’s beloved child, and with you God is well pleased. May you follow the Spirit into the wilderness of our lives with Jesus. May you recognize the tests in our lives as opportunities to grow. With Jesus and the Spirit may we pass them and become more like children of God as we have been created.”
