Our Thanks to Veterans

Our thanks to all those who have served in defending our country. As I have gotten to know a number of you, I have learned how much you appreciated serving and saw it as your call. In our time where we cannot do much for gatherings, we offer our thanks to you.
In a related note, our Synod is supporting a ministry with and for veterans called, “Operation One Nation.” Vicky and Larry Daub from Bethany are leading this. The mission of this ministry is to provide spiritual support and healing to military, veterans, and their families. Let us pray: “O God, we give you thanks for those who have served and ask that you help them continue to serve and contribute. Let them know appreciation and honor. Help them bear their burdens and know your healing.” Amen.
