On Thursday April 22, 12-1pm, you are invited to a zoom gathering, broadcast live from San Luis, Colorado.
Natural Healing from plants? According to Teresa de Jesus Berlinda Vigil, a rural herbal practitioner in the San Luis Valley, plants are a gift from God in nature, “las donas.” Teresa, a licensed practical nurse, is well known for her knowledge of natural remedies and the importance of such remedies to residents of the San Luis Valley. She spent summers as a child learning from her grandmother and others in the valley and has continued that learning for the past thirty-two years. She has spoken widely on this topic
and has been interviewed by print and broadcast media in Colorado and beyond.
For the April Zoom Gathering, Teresa will share with us healing practices using traditional medicinal herbs common to Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. Join us via Zoom as we broadcast live from the Sangre de Cristo Church in San Luis and discover the way the people of the valley use God’s gift of natural healing in their daily lives.
