Lenten Devotional
This year’s Lenten Devotional, Reflections of the Psalms, is written by members and friends of Ascension. The following is a note from the booklet’s coordinator;
Dear Ascension, I’m drawn to the Psalms as I know many of us are. The Psalms are sacred poems and hymns from the Old Testament, traditionally attributed to King David and others. They express a wide range of emotions and serve as personal prayers and communal worship. The Psalms offer comfort, guidance, and a timeless connection to God through themes of faith, hope, and justice. I hope you enjoy and are blessed by all who have written reflections on the Psalms for this Lenten Devotional.
