God’s Work, Our Hands 2016

Last Sunday, Ascension joined thousands of ELCA Lutherans nationwide for “God’s Work, Our Hands” in a day of service. Our bright yellow t-shirts could be spotted all across the city, working hard and doing things such as: yard-work for KPC Kid’s Place, painting houses, sorting clothes, cleaning–even making greeting cards! Combined with neighboring Lutheran churches, we had a great turnout for volunteers this year. Thanks to all who helped out, your charitable spirits are appreciated and noteworthy.
