Donut Sign–up

The Lay Ministry Team loves creating opportunities for people to get to know each other! They’ve found food to be a great gatherer. Therefore, the team is offering donuts each week for the fellowship hour. The team also needs help picking up donuts each week. See below for more information and click the sign–up link to help out!

Donut Pick–up Instructions

Donuts will be available at King Sooper on Austin Bluffs just west of Academy Blvd (3620 Austin Bluffs Pkwy) between 7:00 – 8:00 am Sunday mornings. 

1. Park in a grocery pick-up spot by the blue signs near the south entrance.  

2. Call the store number (719-598-1891) and ask for grocery pick up to let them know you are here for the pick up order of 2 dozen donuts for Marcia Oltrogge – Ascension Lutheran.  The bakery will have the order ready for the grocery pick-up staff.

At church, please cut the donuts in half in the boxes and put the boxes out on the table in the Fellowship Hall along with napkins.  Leaving the donuts in the box means no clean up later.  A good donut-cutting knife and napkins are in the upper kitchen in the corner cupboard labeled “Lay Ministry.” Plastic gloves are on the counter.
