Civic Engagement Listening Session

Our adult forum on Sunday, May 15 at 9:15 am is to give input to a social statement that the ELCA is creating around churches and civic engagement.   In beginning to draft this statement, the church sends out people to listen to its members Pastor Bonita Bock will be leading this listening through asking questions about how we see our engagement with the issues that matter to us and our faith in our community and society.   Even though we won’t all agree on this, it can be healthy to reflect together on what we do and why.   And it allows the church to have our input as they look to draft this social statement.
