Church, State, and Vaccination
Posted on April 15, 2021 | Posted by Pastor Daniel
In 1902 A Lutheran Pastor in Massachusetts refused mandatory vaccination. Three years later the Supreme Court took up his case and ruled against him, declaring that the government could require vaccination. The story raises issues of individual liberty, the public good, and the duty of Christians. Pastor Daniel will lead a two week discussion on this case, using clips from a podcast that tells the story. Join us on April 18 and 25 after worship for our first hybrid discussion in the library or online: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81225176585
