Celtic Spirituality – PILLAR Course 3081 @ ALC
Posted on October 9, 2017 | Posted by Mary Stoneback
OCTOBER PILLAR COURSE 3081 Celtic Spirituality. Join us at ALC Wednesday October 11, 1 pm – 3 pm for course 3081. What is Celtic Christianity? It sits alongside the Orthodox and Roman traditions as one of the earliest Christian traditions. Yet, for the most part it remains misunderstood and unknown. In this session, we will explore Celtic Christianity and her origins in both pre-Celtic myth and Eastern Christianity. Throughout, we will seek to develop appropriate and meaningful ways to apply Celtic Christianity, with her emphasis on “wholeness,” within our own faith traditions
When: Wednesday October 11, 1 pm – 3 pm
Cost: FREE for ALC members, with a food can donation. RSVP needed to PILLAR at 719.633.4991.
This PILLAR course is made possible through the generous support of the Board of Lay Ministry. Ascension Lutheran Church is grateful to host PILLAR courses three times per year, as a part of their second year of collaboration in providing older adults in the community continuing educational opportunities, especially those which help foster faith.
